When you feel like it’s hard to getting up and doing your routines, give yourself permission to put all hardcore routines to rest and opt for moderate ones. Consider doing something simple but still impactful to your body. For example, instead of running 10 km just you usually do, you can switch to swimming, yoga, or walking. Those are great activities to do when you are on low-energy days.
Find something to motivate you
Finding motivation can be in a form of remembering why you want to stay active in the first place. It could be something that keep you going when nothing else will. You might have specific goals or reasons why you do your routines every day. Make it as your motivation to stay active even when you don’t feel like it.
Give yourself credit
Be more respectful to yourself by giving yourself credit for each time you get moving. It gives you a sense of accomplishment which can help you keep going day by day. You can track your progress and reward yourself for even small successes. You can treat activities during your low-energy days as ways for your body restore its energy for tomorrow.
